Study on the perception of climate scenarios in Belgium

Dear participant,

Thank you very much for participating in this study for our master’s thesis at KU Leuven (Business Economics / TEW). With this survey, we aim to gain insight into how people perceive various environmental and climate-related data.

What does the study involve?

The questionnaire consists of three short parts:

  • Environmental scenarios: You will be presented with four different scenarios concerning the environment in Belgium - covering temperature, sea levels, forest cover, and light pollution. Each is followed by a few brief questions about your impressions.
  • Connectedness to nature: A series of statements regarding your personal relationship with the natural world.
  • General information: A few concluding demographic questions, such as age and education.

Completing the survey will take approximately 8 to 10 minutes.

Privacy and participation Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time. All data will be processed completely anonymously; therefore, the results cannot be traced back to you as an individual. There are no right or wrong answers. We are solely interested in your honest and candid perspective.
