Artifical intelligence (AI) has started playing an increasingly large role in the daily lives of Belgian citizens. We know that multiple forms of AI are currently being used in Belgian hospitals. However, there is no clear data about exactly which AI-forms are contributing to the health care in our country today - and how they are doing so. Furthermore, there are no clear and scientifically proven central guidelines regarding its safe and effective usage.
The main objective of this study is to map the AI-models currently used in Belgian emergency departments (EDs). It will also provide an overview of the known safety and proven effectiveness of the AI-models most used in our EDs.
This study is completely anonymous.
The collected data will not be reutilised for other studies.
There will be no kind of remuneration for the participation to this study.
